Yūbi means "elegance and grace," which defines Tanimura san's poetic and graceful work.
Tanimura 谷村 san is the 20th generation of a 500-year-old lineage of chasen makers. The Family was bestowed the name by the Tokugawa Shogunate during the Edo period (1603–1868) )as the official chasen makers in Japan.
The four strings on the chasen resemble ( Red, While for Japan and Bahrain flag colors and Golden, Black for chawan colors)
